ANNOUNCEMENT

Implementation of Thailand’s Electronic Visa (e-Visa)

from 1 January 2025

 

The Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow hereby announces the deadline of submission of visa application under the current system and the launch of Thailand’s e-Visa with the offline payment method.  Details are as follows:

1. Deadline for submission of visa applications under visa sticker system

The Embassy will accept all type of visa applications until 24 December 2024. (Please contact VFS Global or Consulates for their deadline of submission)

2. Thailand’s Electronic Visa (e-Visa)

    2.1 Effective Date:  1 January 2025 at 7.00 hrs. (Moscow time)

    2.2 Eligible Applicants: All nationals residing in the Russian Federation, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus and Republic
of Moldova

     2.3 Application Portal: Applicants must apply for all type of visas
through the website https://www.thaievisa.go.th. All e-Visa applications can be submitted by (1) the applicants themselves or (2) other representatives. The e-Visa application process can be found on the aforementioned website.

     2.4 Payment Process: Online payment for visa fees is not available at this time. Therefore, after submission of visa applications into the e-Visa system, applicants or representatives will get confirmation document with payment details and QR Code. The payment must be made only in CASH (USD) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow within 14 days after the applicants receive the confirmation document.

  • The Embassy will not accept USD notes issued earlier than 2009.
    The USD Note must be in good condition.
  • Visa fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

     2.5 Payment Schedule: Monday to Friday (excluding Embassy’s Holidays) from 9.30 – 12.30 hrs.

     2.6 Processing time:  e-Visa Processing time is within 14 working days from date of visa fee is successfully paid. After each e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. The applicant is requested to PRINT a copy of the confirmation email to present to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration officials in Thailand.

      2.7 Additional Information

  • All documents in Russian or other third languages must be translated into English and certified by the Notary Public. Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents and/or invite the applicants for an interview as deemed necessary.
  • E-Visa processing time for nationals of certain countries may take more than 14 working days.
