Ambassador of Thailand to the Russian Federation meets with the executives of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration

On Friday, 30 June 2017, Mr. Kriangsak Kittichaisaree, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation, hosted a dinner in honour of Mrs. Wanvilai Promlakano, Vice of Governor of Bangkok and executives of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration during their visit to the Russian Federation to attend the 4th WeGO General Assembly in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia.

The WeGO General Assembly is a forum being held once every 3 years to discuss the progress of e-Government and its application to each cities administration. This year, the main theme of the discussion is how to bring start-up business to help solve issues in each city and encourage development of local innovations.

In this occasion, the Ambassador and Vice governor of Bangkok had a chance to discuss cooperation between The Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to organise the Thai Festival in Moscow 2017 on 26 – 27 August 2017 at Muzeon Park of Arts with a theme of “Thailand 4.0”. The Vice governor has express keen interest in taking part with this year’s Thai Festival in celebration of the 120th Anniversary of Russian-Thai Diplomatic Relation, and will consider the format of activity that Bangkok Metropolitan Administration would hold, such as tourism promotion or local product showcase.
