On 26 June 2019, Mrs. Monthip Upatising, Spouse of the Ambassador of Thailand to the Russian Federation, together with the spouses of ASEAN Ambassadors in Moscow, hosted a Ladies' luncheon for the spouses of foreign ambassadors in Moscow at the premises of the Embassy of Malaysia. During the event, Mrs. Monthip introduced the  preparation for home-cooking of one of the best-loved Thai dishes, Tom Yum Gung (spicy and sour prawn soup ), which was  warmly received by the audience.
