on the Recruitment of Assistant/Translator

 

The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to announce the recruitment of translator to work on contract starting from 1 February 2019 until 30 September 2019. The qualifications and job description are as follows:

 

1. Position: Assistant/Translator

 

2. Term of contract: 1 February 2019 - 30 September 2019 (3 months probation)

 

3. Qualifications:

  • Age: 22-45 years old (all nationalities are welcome)
  • Education: Bachelor degree or above
  • Language: fluent in English and Russian in all skills
  • Computational skills: basic programmes such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Hardworking, trustworthy, responsible, creative, can work as a team
  • Ready to start working from 1 February 2019 or as agreed

 

4. Job Descriptions

  • Translation and interpretation
  • Liaise between the Embassy and local organisations
  • Assist in conducting consular projects
  • Assist Thai nationals in distress
  • Monitor news and conduct research on consular matters such as migration rules, labour code etc.
  • Or any other tasks delegated by the Consular Section

 

5. Documents to be Submitted

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Motivation letter 
  • Copy of passport (original to be presented)
  • Copy of diplomas and transcripts (originals to be presented)
  • Recommendation letters (if any)

7. Selection Process

The Embassy will invite the applicants for an interview based on the documents submitted. Confirmation of interview dates and announcement on the outcome will be posted on the Embassy's official website at http://thaiembassy.org/moscow/
