On 9 April 2018, Mr. Poj Harnpol, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy  to the Russian Federation, together with the Naval Attaché, the Agricultural Attaché and the manager of the Thai Airways Office in Moscow, received delegation comprising of two committees from the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand. ADM. Sithawat Wongsuwan, Chairperson of the Committee on Laws, Justice Procedure and Police Affairs and Pol.Gen. Pichit Kuandachakupt, Chairperson of the Committee on Religion, Art, Culture and Tourism, were received at the premises of the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, Mr. Poj briefed the delegation on the overall aspect of the Russian-Thai relations, their dynamics as well as ways to further enhance cooperation between the two countries.

            During the visit, the two committees held a number of bilateral discussions in Moscow and St.Petersburg with their Russian counterparts i.e. the State Duma, the Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Government of St. Petersburg on the promotion of bilateral relations and judicial cooperation between the Senates of the two countries.
