From 24 to 29 June 2017, the Honorable Chief Justice Veerapon Tangsuwan, President of the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, paid an official visit to the Russian Federation upon the invitation from the Honorable Chief Justice Vyacheslav Lebedev, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

During the visit, the Honorable Chief Justice Tangsuwan held a bilateral discussion with  his Russian counterpart on the promotion of judicial relations and cooperation between Russia and Thailand.

Chief Justice Tangsuwan also met with Mr. Alexander Gusev, Director-General of  the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Justice  Vasily Voloshin, President of the City Court of Moscow, and Justice Valentina Epifanova, President of the City Court of St. Petersburg. H.E. Dr. Kriangsak Kittichaisaree, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to  the Russian Federation, hosted a luncheon in honour of Chief Justice Tangsuwan and his delegation on 26 June 2017 at the Ambassador’s residence.
