By the Ministerial Regulation of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Thailand dated 29 October 2019, Thailand will implement a temporary Visa on Arrival (VoA) fee exemption scheme, starting from 1 November 2019 to 30 April 2020.
The scheme applies for nationals and holders of passports/travel documents of the countries/territory entitled to apply for VoA at the designated immigration checkpoints. It applicable only for tourism purposes and stay for up to 15 days.
During the aforementioned period, nationals and holders of passports/travel documents of Visa Bulgaria, Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Uzbekistan and Vanuatu are exempted from Visa on Arrival (VoA) fee of 2,000 Baht.
